MYPT
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 24 July 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how MYPT (“the App”), operated by ZERODB (Fabio Sanna), collects, uses, and stores information when you use the mobile app or web version at zerodb.studio/mypt.
1. Who we are
Data controller: ZERODB — Fabio Sanna
Contact: f.sanna@zerodb.studio
2. Data we collect
MYPT is designed as a personal training tool. We collect only what is needed to run the service:
- Workout program data — the interpreted training program (exercises, sets, reps, RIR) you upload or load.
- Training history — weights, reps, dates, notes, and session data you log in the app.
- Credit balance — number of upload credits associated with your synced account data.
- Uploaded files — workout files (Excel, CSV, PDF) are sent to our automation server for AI interpretation; they are processed to produce your program and are not used for advertising.
- Purchase data — in-app purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play (and RevenueCat as billing middleware). We do not receive your payment card details.
- Technical data — standard server logs (IP address, request time) may be recorded temporarily for security and operation of
api.php.
- Anonymous interpretation improvement (optional) — if you opt in, we collect fully anonymous exercise and program metadata to refine how MYPT interprets schedules and exercises. This includes exercise names, movement categories, muscle tags, set/rep/RIR patterns, program structure (splits, methods), and corrections you make after AI interpretation. We do not send your name, email address, photos, raw uploaded files, or workout weights tied to your identity. Data is linked only to a random Sync ID used for technical deduplication.
We do not require account registration, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
3. How we use data
- To interpret and display your training program.
- To save and sync your workout history and credit balance across your devices.
- To process in-app credit purchases via platform stores.
- To optionally push logged sets to Google Sheets only if you configure a personal Google Apps Script URL in Advanced settings — data goes directly to your Google account, not to us.
- Interpretation improvement (opt-in) — if you enable this in the welcome flow or in Settings → Advanced, anonymous exercise and program metadata is aggregated to improve schedule and exercise interpretation for all MYPT users. You can disable it at any time; the app continues to work normally without contributing.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
4. Where data is stored
- On your device — program and history in local browser/app storage for offline use.
- On our server — JSON files on
zerodb.studio (program schema, history, credits) for multi-device sync.
- AI processing — uploaded files are sent to our n8n workflow with an AI provider (OpenRouter) solely to interpret the workout structure.
- Interpretation improvement — anonymous metadata from opted-in users is stored in aggregated form on our automation infrastructure to refine future interpretations. It is not used for advertising or sold to third parties.
Interpretation improvement — details
If you consent, MYPT sends structured, anonymous signals when you upload a program, edit exercises after interpretation, or log workouts. Examples: “Bench Press” mapped to horizontal push, typical rep ranges, or a correction you made to sets/reps/RIR.
- What is never included: your name, email, payment details, raw spreadsheet/PDF/photo files, or any data intended to identify you personally.
- Purpose: improve accuracy and speed of AI interpretation of training schedules and exercises for the whole MYPT community.
- Control: opt in during onboarding or in Settings → Advanced → “Share anonymous data to improve interpretation”. Opt out anytime — no loss of app features.
- Retention: aggregated patterns are kept while the service operates; individual events are consolidated into anonymous statistics.
5. Third-party services
- Apple App Store / Google Play — in-app purchases and app distribution.
- RevenueCat — purchase validation and restore (native apps).
- OpenRouter / AI models — interpretation of uploaded workout files.
- Google Sheets — optional, user-configured sync only.
Each provider has its own privacy policy governing data they process on their infrastructure.
6. Data retention
Your program and history remain stored until you delete them or request removal. Server-side data can be deleted on request by contacting us. Local data is removed when you uninstall the app or clear site data.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location (including GDPR in the EU), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Use in-app Export JSON backup or email us at f.sanna@zerodb.studio.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. The app uses standard platform encryption (TLS). No custom non-exempt encryption is implemented beyond what the operating system provides.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
